“Dragon Camp is AI’s Killer App–the common sense reframing of AI we’ve been waiting for. Human collaboration and creativity beat fear every time. And, we need this now more than ever.” -Tom Peters, Author: “In Search of Excellence”
Over the past three years, we have developed the Dragon Camp methodology working with the leading seven AI models (ChatGPT, Caude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Perplexity, and Copilot: our Dragons. We asked each of them to independently rate the Dragon Camp’s methodology as a framework for achieving superior results for creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. Here are their time-stamped testimonials of a process that included them as partners:
Don’t listen to us, listen to what the Dragons have to say:

Partnerships
Dragon Camp was born from nearly a quarter-century of collaboration with Harvard’s Clay Christensen, father of Disruptive Innovation Theory. We continue that spirit by welcoming partnerships with organizations, educators, and communities that share our mission: to introduce a new approach to human-AI collaboration that amplifies creativity, innovation, and problem-solving while driving cultural transformation.
Events
From immersive keynotes to digital campfire dialogues, we collaborate with partners (and the Dragons) to bring our ethos to life: Play Seriously. Work Playfully. Each event is designed to spark awe, wonder, and meaningful connection, transforming audiences from passive observers into active co-creators.
C-Suite Coaching
For leaders navigating transformation, we provide focused coaching on applying Dragon Camp principles and tapping Collaborative General Intelligence (CGI), turning complexity into clarity, injecting creativity and curiosity, and using AI as a catalyst for cultural evolution. Our coaching strengthens strategic storytelling, communication, and change leadership in the age of AI.
Meet the Team
In Memoriam to our Co-founder, Partner, Mentor, and Friend: Professor Clayton M. Christensen
Anomalies Wanted: How a sign outside a Harvard Business Professor’s brought fresh insight to the future of AI. Embrace the anomalies!!!
The Origin Story of Dragon Camp
Though Clay passed away in 2020, his life’s work laid the foundation for quantum innovation and the creation of Dragon Camp—a living ecosystem for human–AI partnership designed for emergence and the generation of unexpected insight. He believed that anomalies drive innovation, and his conviction that breakthrough ideas arise from contradiction became the conceptual cornerstone of Dragon Camp’s methodology: orchestrating multiple AI systems to spark emergent intelligence. We believe he would wholeheartedly support Collaborative General Intelligence (CGI) as the next evolution of his theory—democratizing strategic insight through human–AI collaboration, rather than waiting for the arrival of a centralized superintelligence.
Professor Clayton M. Christensen (April 6, 1952 – January 23, 2020)
The Disruptor Foundation and Awards
Hatkoff and Christensen began working together in 2000, joined by Rabbi Irwin Kula in 2007. In 2009, the three created the Disruptor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit advancing disruptive innovation theory in societally critical domains. In 2010, they launched the annual Disruptor Awards, which have since recognized over 250 honorees.
Christensen’s office door sign read “Anomalies Wanted”—a testament to his belief that contradictions were pathways to breakthrough insight. The Awards highlighted anomalies that led Christensen, Hatkoff, and Kula to develop Quantum Innovation—an adjunct to disruptive innovation theory explaining how identity (worldviews, values, belief systems) drives innovation diffusion in identity-centric domains like healthcare, education, politics, and religion.
Dragon Camp has become the platform and methodology for both disruptive and quantum innovation, operationalizing Christensen’s insight that anomalies catalyze breakthrough understanding.
The annual Disruptor Awards, presented with the Tribeca Film Festival, honors transformative innovators embodying Christensen’s principles. The Awards are being transformed into a platform showcasing Collaborative General Intelligence and Dragon Camp as living demonstrations of disruptive and quantum innovation theory in action.
Harvard Business School Professor Clay Christensen is the father of disruptive innovation theory, called the most influential business idea of the early 21st century. He introduced “disruption” in a 1995 Harvard Business Review article as “disruptive technology,” then rebranded it as “disruptive innovation” in his 1997 book The Innovator’s Dilemma, which became Silicon Valley’s manifesto and led The Economist to call him “the most influential management thinker of his time.”
His work profoundly influenced Intel’s Andy Grove, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Apple’s Steve Jobs, Google’s Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman, Netflix’s Reed Hastings, Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales, and countless others who shaped the digital revolution.
An Elder of the Church of Latter-day Saints, Christensen believed ethics, morality, and spirituality were necessary foundations for a better society.
Craig Hatkoff
Craig Hatkoff is an investor, social innovator, and co-founder of the Tribeca Film Festival, with Robert DeNiro and Jane Rosenthal, the Disruptor Foundation, and the Disruptor Awards, where he partnered with Professor Clay Christensen and Rabbi Irwin Kula to celebrate breakthrough ideas that shape our future. His newest venture, Dragon Camp, is an AI Innovation and Learning Lab presented by the Disruptor Foundation, designed to help leaders and teams overcome the “creativity deficit” that holds back innovation. A board member of seven public companies, a half dozen start-ups, and over a dozen non-profits, Craig was a pioneer in commercial mortgage-backed securities but believes in the transformational power of narrative. He and his young daughters have sold over 10 million non-fiction children’s books, published by Scholastic Books. By showing executives how to harness – and challenge – the world’s most powerful AI platforms, Hatkoff equips organizations to think differently, unlock imagination, and drive bold transformation in an era where creativity and technology must converge. Dragon Camp takes play…seriously.
